When learning how to parse text data for a machine learning problem, I accidentally learn HTML. Not that hard.
At first I thought it was XML. A paragraph is wrapped in <p>...</p>. A block of code for example is done by <pre><code>...</code></pre>. Then you can include Latex if supported, html link, image. All by the similar format as above.
